Caleb Heimlich
Certified Arborist with 20+ years of
experience in the arboricultural industry in Western North Carolina
Caleb was born in the rich bottom lands of the Ohio River Valley, navigating the family farm using giant northern red oak and burr oaks as markers before he could tell the two apart.
He moved to WNC in 2007 and fell in love with some of the oldest mountain ranges in the world. He is still excited to be learning more and more about the wonderful ecosystem we live in and is happy to share his knowledge.
ISA Certified Arborist # SO-7130A
ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification
USDA National Sawyer
Caleb stumbled into the world of trees like many arborists do; out of a fascination with biology, a desire to contribute to conservation, and the sheer joy of climbing.

Why Living Leaf?
Just like humans, trees are living, breathing organisms with their own life cycle, modes of communication, and life requirements.
You can see this life in the smallest of leaves - whose growth provides humans with the precious oxygen that we breath.
At Living Leaf we celebrate and honor the diversity in our trees, the beauty they provide to the landscape and the support they provide to our universe.
